Peter J. Ims holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering (summa cum laude) from the University of North Dakota and a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the University of Minnesota. He worked for a major United States oil refining company as a process engineer in its oil refining units. Pete is experienced in patent preparation and prosecution in the chemical and mechanical fields. He also has experience in trademark prosecution and enforcement. Pete is a member of the Minnesota Bar, the District Court of Minnesota, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent Office.
