James L. Young has over three decades of experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications related to the mechanical arts. He also has extensive expertise and experience in counseling clients worldwide regarding patentability, freedom to operate, patent validity and infringement, as well as intellectual property transactional projects such as licensing and acquisitions. Jim has also developed an extensive practice regarding the clearance, registration, licensing and enforcement of trademarks. He is an author on numerous published articles about intellectual property and is a frequent seminar presenter to attorneys and university students on intellectual property topics.
